The ARO-EVO is the consistent further development of the ARO (Advanced Rifle Optic). It features a completely new housing design with a 26mm objective diameter. This provides a significantly larger field of view, allowing the user to gain more information about the target area, resulting in faster and improved target engagement and thereby optimized hit performance. With the new lower 1/3 Co-Witness pedestal mount, there is an absolutely shot-proof connection to the weapon's Picatinny rail. The newly designed housing perfectly matches our series of magnifiers. Additionally, the ARO-EVO is equipped with the new Special Purpose Reticle (SPR). This is a reticle with hold marks for compensating bullet drop at different operational distances (Bullet Drop Compensation - BDC). This is a function integrated into optics to help the shooter compensate for the trajectory deviation of a projectile over longer distances. Due to gravity, a bullet follows a curved trajectory after leaving the barrel, causing it to drop as the distance to the target increases. Our SPR reticle with integrated BDC includes special markings that allow the shooter to directly compensate for different target distances without manually adjusting the scope or sight-in distance. These markings are calibrated to offset the specific bullet drop at certain distances. With BDC, the shooter can precisely hit targets at various distances by simply aiming over the corresponding hold mark. This is particularly advantageous in situations where rapid target acquisition and adjustment are necessary, which often occurs in tactical or hunting environments. The user-friendliness lies in the shooter's ability to intuitively perform range estimation and compensation, thus increasing accuracy at different distances. It has a fine 1.5 MOA point in the center, which can be optimally used even at greater distances, covering very little of the target. The 65 MOA ring serves for ultra-fast target acquisition at close range. Paired with the hold marks for precise determination of bullet drop and range estimation up to about 300m, optimal results can be achieved with this reticle, especially in combination with one of our magnifiers, up to medium shooting distances. The SPR reticle is suitable not only for professional users but also for users without tactical training and experience, as the reticle is extremely intuitive to use. The muzzle of the weapon is automatically adjusted to a different deflection by aiming over the respective hold marks to compensate for the bullet's falling trajectory. The ARO-EVO-SPR is available with the novel Special Purpose Reticle in red, green, and gold. You decide on the optimal reticle color for you when ordering, depending on personal preference, prevailing operational environment, or given visual impairments (for example, red-green color blindness, here we recommend the golden reticle).
